Maleny Cheese offers guided Yoghurt and Cheese Tasting Tours in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, providing visitors with an immersive paddock-to-plate experience which includes:

* A selection of 3 award-winning yoghurt flavours to taste.
* A guided 30 minute tour to learn about the history of Maleny Cheese, the dairy region and dairy production techniques.
* A cheese tasting of Maleny Cheese cheddar, brie, fetta, and seasonal buffalo cheeses using traditional methods.

This experience combines tasting, education, and behind-the-scenes access to showcase how our products are made from farm to finished product.

Cheese

Maleny Cheese produces a range of cheeses including club cheddars, white mould and fetta-style cheeses. White mould and fetta-style cheeses are made with local cow’s milk and buffalo milk. Our club cheddar range is made with Australian cheddar. These award-winning cheeses are lovingly handmade using artisan skills handed down from European Master Cheesemakers.

Taste the Sunshine in every creamy mouthful of our multi-award winning local yoghurt. If you are looking for a simple ingredients list, you will love our 100% natural Greek-style yoghurt. It’s purely made on real whole milk, with real fruit. Abundant with those wonderful A,B & C cultures, without all those nasties you don’t need.

Maleny Cheese is run by the Bucher family. Our Master Cheesemaker Markus was born in Switzerland, and brings his European craftsmanship to offer products of pure distinction. Our range is handmade with a love for the craft, our industry and our community. We are also a dairy processing family, with a dairy farm of our own. Only fresh local milk from boutique farms on the Hinterland supply our cheese and yoghurt making. Since 2004, we have grown to become a well known brand around Queensland and Australia. For the past 121 years, the rolling green hills of the Maleny area have supported our dairy industry. Our Hinterland is fiercely proud to be a trusted source of natural dairy products of excellence.
